

Bobby Sue King Curry, 79, of Barling, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her home. She was born December 24, 1936 in Muenster, TX to the late Diamond and Eddyth King. She was a retired LPN at Sparks in Fort Smith and Paris Regional in Paris, TX. She was a member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Curry, and a son, David Maestri. She is survived by two sons, Richard Maestri II of Barling, and Danny Maestri and wife Dana of Van Buren; two sisters, Carol McClain of Barling, and Betty Miller of Lindale, TX; five grandchildren, Crystal Thompson, Cheryl Maestri, Vanessa McKenna, David Maestri, and Kayla Walters, and ten great-grandchildren, Gavin, Garrett, Caden, Jada, Lexi, Lakyn, Ashton, Mabrey, Ava, and Kenzleigh. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016 at Butterfield Assembly of God in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Interment will be at Detroit Cemetery in Detroit, TX with a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016, under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Pallbearers will Larry Miller, John McClain, David Maestri, Jeremy Lensing, Mike Lensing, B.J. Lensing, and Mike McKenna. Honorary pallbearers will be Chancey Wilson, Bobby Attebery, and Charles Cutaia.
