Cecil Wright

Cecil Stewart Wright, 65, of Blossom, passed away Friday, July 31, 2015, at her son’s home in Paris. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4th, at Word of Life Fellowship Church with Rev. Jerry McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in Wright Family Cemetery near Blossom. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Cecil was born Jan. 14, 1950, in Somerset, KY. Her career at Merico & Earthgrains spanned many years before her retirement. She was an excellent seamstress, a talent she loved very much. Cecil enjoyed church services and was a member of Word of Life Fellowship Church. On July 4, 1982, she married Bennie Wright, building ten years of family and memories before his tragic death in a truck accident on April 12, 1993. Survivors include two sons, Clinton Burnsed & Taffie of Paris and SSG Bennie Wright, Jr. & wife Brandi of Columbia, SC, two granddaughters, Elizabeth & Savannah Wright, two sisters, Bertha Wiggins of Ft. Myers, FL and Joyce Lafleur of Homestead, FL along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
