Charles Michael Gilliland

Charles Michael Gilliland, age 64, of Boswell, Oklahoma finished his earthly journey on August 31, 2022 in Hugo, OK. Private services and burial were under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Reverend Wade White officiated. Michael was born May 13, 1958 in Dallas, TX to Charles Wilder Gilliland and Mary Jo Offutt Gilliland. He graduated from Boswell High School in 1976. He was self-employed. Michael married the love of his life, Pamela Kay, on August 13, 1981 building nearly 36 years of memories before her death in 2017. He was her devoted caretaker during her final illness. Michael loved his family with all his heart. He enjoyed time swimming and fishing. He had a zest for life with a personality that was big and filled the room. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Kay Gilliland, his father, his grandparents, and a nephew, Justin Cox. Survivors include his children, Michelle Fieseler and husband Travis and Christopher Gilliland and wife Tiffany; grandchildren, Kenzie Fieseler, Jordyn Fieseler, Claire Gilliland, and Caeli Gilliland; his mother, Mary Jo Brumley; sisters, Kim Rogers and husband Jimmy, and Debra Sawyers; an aunt, Helen Rawls; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
