

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Van Der Wilt officiating. Burial will be made in Restland Cemetery at Roxton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Oct. 10th from 6 – 7 p.m.
Mrs. Huggins, the daughter of Tonie Melvin Moore & Jimmie Gladys Brinlee Moore, was born June 20, 1950, in Lamar County, TX. She graduated from Paris High School. During most of her adult years she was a wife, mother, and homemaker. Deborah did contract wallpaper hanging and was a care giver to many, especially her mother. She was an avid seamstress & quilter and loved cooking and baking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Denny Mac Huggins, whom she married on Jan. 22, 1972, building 53 years of family and memories before his death on June 17, 2025. Also preceding her in death were six siblings, Margie Mills, Fay Phillips, Jimmy Moore, W. J. “Dub” Moore, Martha Vandergriff, and Mae Donaldson.
Survivors include her son, Denny Huggins & wife Michelle, grandchildren, Kalyn Huggins, Brittani Hess & husband Todd, Christine Sasser & husband James, Paige Hellman & husband Brad, and Caleb Winters & wife Shelby, three siblings, Tonie Moore & wife Pat, Gene Moore & wife Jan, and Virginia Lenoir along with many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Caleb Winters, Derek Van Der Wilt, Steven Deighton, Nathan Van Der Wilt, Jason Moore, and Scott Moore.
