Edna Jean McCloud

Edna Jean McCloud, 81, of McKinney, formerly of Paris, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at Park Manor of McKinney. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, April 21st, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery at Roxton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mrs. McCloud, the daughter of Ed & Addie Kelley Bowman, was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Brookston, Texas. On July 20, 1955, she married Daniel McCloud, building thirty-seven years of family and memories before his death on March 16, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Danna Moore. Edna Jean’s career at Westinghouse/Phillips Lighting spanned more than thirty years before her retirement. She was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church where she was a volunteer in the office. She had also volunteered in the Auxiliary at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Survivors include her son, Phillip McCloud & wife Terry of Celina, grandchildren; Sarah McCloud of Frisco, Lauren Ammerman & husband Eric of Rockwall, Jessica Moore of Garland and Allie Moore of Rockwall, great grandchildren, Landon Ammerman and Emerson Ammerman along with a host of friends.
