Frances Ann Hoover

Frances Ann Hoover, 90, of Paris, passed away at The Home Place, Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Funeral services have been scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Deport. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Hoover was born in Lamar County on June 11, 1924 to James Robert Finch and Ivie Rosella Robinson. She married Raymond Hoover May 9, 1942 and he preceded her in death August 14, 2014, building over 72 years of family and memories. Mrs. Hoover retired after 20 years of employment with Munsingware. She and Raymond loved camping. Mrs. Hoover was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers and five sisters. Survivors include her children, Linda Green & husband Larry of Paris, John Hoover & wife Jill of Pattonville and Larry Hoover & wife Brenda of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Shane Morton, Randy Hoover, Lindsay Creighton, Jeff Campbell, Angie Sanders, Mitch Campbell, Daphne Thompson and Denise Smith; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Faye Harper, Margaret Wadley and Hellen Hively, along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Casket Bearers will be Frances’ grandsons and great-grandsons.
