Geraldine Birdwell, 93, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, at her home. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26th, at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Ken Cannon officiating. Mrs. Birdwell, the daughter of Willie Douglas & Lessie Jewell Campbell Speer, was born Jan. 10, 1923. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris. Her husband, Raymond S. Birdwell, preceded her in death following fifty-nine years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond S. Birdwell, Jr. Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Kay Chambers of Paris, one son, Dr. Larry Birdwell & wife Dee Ann of Austin, grandchildren, Lauren Ann Mavromaras & husband Marcos of San Antonio and Rhiannon Noel Chambers of Austin, two great grandchildren, Nicholas Mavromaras and Alexander Mavromaras along with a host of friends.
