James Brian Leatherman, 31, of Dallas, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, in Dallas. A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27th, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Anthony Stoeppel officiating. Bright-Holland Funeral Home will make burial in Detroit Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. James, the son of Eddy Leatherman and Deborah Thomas Buhrle, was born Aug. 26, 1983, in Newton, Kansas. Survivors include his mother, Deborah Buhrle of Paris, his father, Eddy Leatherman of Valley Center, Kansas, sister, Jessica Bohlken, brothers, Steven Leatherman, Wesley Leatherman & Trevor Buhrle, grandmothers, Rogean Thomas and Sondra Leatherman, nieces & nephews, Grayson & Harrison Bohlken, Garrett, Troy, Max, Faith and D. J. Leatherman.
