Janice Olson, age 87 passed away on August 4, 2024 after a long illness in New Braunfels, Texas. Janice was born to Harvey and Chlorine Collier on October 14, 1936 in Paris, Texas.
She was a graduate of Paris High School and attended Calvary Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Dean A. Olson, her parents Harvey and Chlorine Collier, brothers, Jimmy, Richard, and Gerald, and her Grandson Justin L. Wilkinson.
She is survived by her children Jennifer (Mike) Wilkinson, Scott Moore, Brad (Marsha) Moore, Derek (Brenden) Moore, Deann Funk and Kim Olson. Grandchildren Zachary, Tyler, Travis, Michael, Jackson, Colton, Josh, Elijah and Megan. Sisters Martha Ferebee (Bob) and Betsy Haynes. Nieces and nephews too numerous to name, she loved them all.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Strempke officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
