Karen Sue (Sinclair) Hinsley was born October 24th, 1956, to Donald Alfred Joseph Sinclair and Florence Grace Moore in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Growing up she lived all over places like New York, Tennessee, and even Berlin Germany. Karen was the baby of her family, and she told stories of how it was like having several parents and being each one of their favorites. She knew how to get what she wanted from them. She especially liked telling the story of stowing away in the back seat of her sister’s dates car one evening. Because she of course wanted to go. Karen had two children and settled for most of her adult life in the Hugo area of Oklahoma. She married Carroll Joe Hinsley on February 21st, 1991. Later they began driving a truck as a team and spent most of their time together crossing the United States with their beloved dogs. Karen loved spending time with her family and her animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents Don Sinclair and Grace Sinclair of Hugo, Oklahoma, 1 sister Alice Jackson of Apple, Oklahoma, 1 brother Robert (Butch) Sinclair of Carthage, Tennessee, her husband Joe Hinsley of the home and 1 grandson Trenton Ray of Antlers, Oklahoma.
She was survived by her sisters Ruth Mazzare of Hugo, Oklahoma and Jeri and husband Robert Howser of Hugo, Oklahoma and her brother Jack Sinclair of Jackson, Tennessee. Her children Jesseca and husband JB McEachern of Derby, Kansas and son Thomas Stavely II and wife Kelly of Oklahoma City and Caroll Joe Hinsley JR of Hugo, Oklahoma, she had 15 granddaughters and 1 grandson, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was loved by many and will be missed.
