Katherine Good

Katherine O. Good, 80, of Blossom, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015, at her home. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23rd, at Knights of Honor Cemetery with Rev. Don Morton officiating. Mrs. Good will lie in repose at the funeral home for those wishing to pay respects. Katherine, the daughter of John & O’Beria Ward, was born Nov. 9, 1934, in Red River County. She married Marshall Good, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 2013, following sixty-two years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ricky Good and Glen Good. She was a longtime, faithful member of Ramseur Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years and sang in the choir. Survivors include a son, Jackie Good & wife Lisa of Blossom, 4 grandchildren, Marshall Good, Matthew McEntyre & wife Elisha, Meron McEntyre and Jackie Sue Nobles, eight great grandchildren, siblings, Russell Ward, Clovis Ward and Connie McMurray, a brother-in-law, Jim Harwell, and a sister-in-law, Fran Ward along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
