

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 19, 2025, 2:00 pm at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel, 2601 Lamar Avenue, Paris, Texas. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery, FM 1497, Biardstown, Texas.
Lanny was born in Paris, Texas on November 3, 1972, to Waymond and Claudine Teague.
Left to cherish his memories are his son Garett Teague (Kenna), Garett’s mother Shree’ Teague, and Garett’s siblings Micah Hughes, Josh Hughes, Halee Hughes (Josh Lewis). Lanny’s siblings Debra Jamison, Brandon Teague (Stefanie Eppler), Lisa Taylor (Bryan), Kristi Morrow (Mike), Shon Liles (Amanda), Nieces and nephews Taylor Flowers, Ty Bates (Cheyenne), Acie Teague (Andee), Jesse Teague (Rachel), Jared Teague (Courtney Stowell), Jackson Teague, Savanah Teague, Jordan Taylor, Mason Morrow (Emily), Gary Vickers (DJ), Amanda Cummings (David), great nieces and nephews, step mother Rene Teague Osuna, and a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Waymond and Claudine Teague, sister Sheree Vickers, grandparents Edward and Flora Teague and LeRoy and Vennie Everett.
Lanny was a talented musician, establishing the band “Blackland,” a well-known country band in Paris and surrounding area. Over the years he made a multitude of friendships in music circles. He taught many guitar lessons, was a talented song writer and an avid book reader.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Thank you from the family for your love, prayers and support during this time and the days to come.
