Marchita Frierson Thielman

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Kee officiating. Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Thielman, the daughter of James Herbert Frierson & Ida Estell Renfro Frierson, was born Oct. 21, 1931, in Chicota, TX.

She graduated from Chicota High School and received her associate degree in business from Paris Junior College. Marchita then became a legal secretary. Her career with McLaughlin, Hutchison and Hunt spanned 40 years before her retirement. She was a faithful member of Oak Park United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the ladies quilting group. They quilted and sold quilts to support church programs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry Thielman, a daughter, Bonita Thielman, a daughter-in-law, Yvette Champagne Thielman, and all her siblings.

Survivors include two sons, Chuck Thielman and Jimmy Thielman, a grandson, Jordon Thielman, step-grandchildren, Stephanie Rojas & husband Eduardo and Christopher Lovrien & wife Carly, a step-great grandson, Salvador Rojas along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
