Margaret Elnora Wilkes

Margaret Elnora Wilkes joined our Lord on February 28, 2017 at age 95. Marge was born on August 14, 1921 to parents Albert Anderson and Sarah Lillis Taylor Anderson in Devils Lake, North Dakota. She married her soul mate and love of her life, John Lewis Wilkes on September 7, 1947 and has been married for 69 years. Jesus is her Lord and Savior. She is survived by her husband John and her two children, John Michael Wilkes, who is married to wife Ruth Ellen Newcomer Wilkes, and her daughter Vicky Wilkes Webster. Marge has three grandchildren, Melissa Erin Wilkes Requenez, who is married to husband Allen James Requenez, Jennifer Lynn Wilkes, and John Lewis Wilkes II. Marge had two great grandchildren, Eden Rose Requenez and Samuel John Requenez, children of James and Melissa Requenez, and grandchildren to Manuela Rodriguez Requenez, mother of James Requenez. She was preceded in death by mother and father Albert and Sarah Anderson and sister Evelyn (Evie) Anderson. Marge was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and was loved by all who knew her. Cremation was conducted under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
