

Mary Frances Moss, 86, of Paris, passed away Friday, March 03, 2017. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 6th, at the United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Private graveside will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. A formal visitation is not scheduled, however, family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home. Mrs. Moss, the daughter of Neal & Edith Wright Yancey, was born Nov. 18, 1930, in Rockford. She retired from Westinghouse in 1973. Mary was secretary for the United Pentecostal Church for more than thirty-five years. A woman of great faith; the Lord, her family and her church were the most precious things in her life. On Dec. 24, 1949, she married Weldon Moss, building twenty-eight years of family and memories before his death on July 17, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Neva Yancey and Peggy Sexton and a brother, Sammy Yancey. Survivors include two daughters; Vicki Trenado & husband Billy and Marla Fortner & husband Aaron, grandchildren; Wendi Burton & husband Nick, Jeremy Trenado and Andrew Fortner, a great granddaughter, Maggi Burton, one sister, Pat Rees, two sisters-in-law, Marie Yancey and Ella Mae Bristow & husband Lonnie along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends. Casket bearers will be: Joey Bristow, Nick Burton, Ronnie Morton, Phillip Taylor, Derek Bristow and Geron Jackson.
