The family will schedule a celebration of his life at a later date. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mr. Head, the son of Geral Head & Ruby Chainey Head, was born Dec. 30, 1955, in Karnes City, TX.
His career as a truck driver spanned many years, driving for Key Energy.
Michael loved his family and was loved by many. He had a fondness and love for animals, and he would welcome any cat or dog that was brought to his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Linda Belcher, and a brother, Edward Head.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Serna Head, three children, Jeremy Serna & wife Nancy, Steven Brown & wife Monica, and Amalia Martinez & husband Sean and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren along with several nieces & nephews.
