

Roger Cato, 87, of Paris, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25th, at Union Grove Cemetery with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Cato, the son of Leon & Bobbie Frederick Cato, was born Nov. 12, 1929, in Lamar County. He had owned and operated Cato Camper Sales in Reno and had been co-owner of C & C Guitars. Roger was an avid musician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, a very special grandson-in-law, Donnie Larkin, a great granddaughter, Brooklynn Townsend, a brother, James, and two sisters, Anita and Dora Gay. Survivors include his daughter, Sandy Lindsey of Paris, grandchildren, Aaron Wilkerson & Miranda Ridge of Denton, Ryan Wilkerson & wife Gaby of McKinney, Whitney Wilkerson & fiance Travis Crossland of Paris and Payton Barnes & husband Anthony of Paris, great grandchildren, Nickolas, Jaylee, Tori, Keaton, Lizzy, and Emberlee, one brother, Don Cato & wife Wanda of Paris along with several nieces & nephews.
