Roger Dale Edwards

Roger was a man who never met a stranger. He loved people, loved to joke, and always seemed to have a sarcastic comment ready. His big heart and generous spirit touched countless lives. And if you ever gave him a minute you would here about his love for his country and President Trump.

Roger was the founder of Rocking E Moving and Storage and took great pride in giving back to his community. He loved cooking and serving fish, supporting our local police, fire dept, emts, homeschooling youth groups, and helping countless others. He never needed recognition—helping people was simply part of who he was.

Roger also loved playing dominoes and 42 with his brothers. According to Roger, he never lost a game to them. His brothers may have had a slightly different version of that story! The games, teasing, and laughter created memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Roger is survived by his Fiancé, Melissa Jones of Paris; his daughter, Heather Hamm, and her husband, Daniel of Sulphur Springs; grandson Caleb Hamm and his wife, Lindsey of Clarksville, Tennessee; granddaughters Gracie Hamm and Brianna Edwards; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many others who considered him family.

He is also survived by his brothers, Johnny Edwards and wife Betty, Orville Edwards and wife Penny, Lyle Edwards and wife Dianna all of Paris, and Kelvin Edwards and wife Tammy of Frogville, Oklahoma, along with their families.

Roger was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Edwards, his grandson, Joshua Blake Hamm; his son, Roger Dale Edwards Jr.; his parents, Lundsford and Lavern Edwards; and his wife, Ginger Edwards.

Roger's legacy lives on in the people he helped, the meals he shared, the friendships he made, and the laughter he brought wherever he went.

He loved big. He gave freely. He joked often. He played to win. And he never met a stranger.

Roger may have left the table, but his stories, his laughter, and his love for others will keep his seat at the table forever.

And knowing Roger, he's already sitting down somewhere for a game of 42—and telling everyone he hasn't lost yet.
