Ruby C. Meeske

My mom Ruby Castro Meeske went to her loving father in Heaven on October 14, 2025. She was 72 years old. Ruby was survived by her husband Kenn G. Meeske and her Kids; Ruby Garcia (husband David), Pete Jimenez, Paul Jimenez, Martin Jimenez (wife Charlotte), and Rebecca Pineda (husband Raul). She had many grandchildren and so many great grandchildren and thousands of friends worldwide. She was loved by many. Ruby loved church and all her dear friends. She loved taking care of the elderly and everyone. Ruby graduated from Redwood High School in 1971, got married, then divorced in 1988. She worked as a nurse for 51 years and loved working in the hospital and nursing homes. Ruby finished 4 years of nursing school, 2 years of college, and obtained all her degrees. She worked in hospitals in the city of Visalia, moved to Bakersfield, then moved to Tucson, Arizona. She then met her future husband, Kenn Meeske. They were wed and she continued working. Ruby had joined the Lutheran church and was baptized in 2001. She had so much faith and love enough for the whole world. She dearly loved her kids. She was the kind of person that would give her shirt off her back to help anyone. If she saw someone in need; she would give her last penny or scrap of food to help. Her hobbies included doing artwork, woodwork, glass work, and all sorts of crafts. She also lifted weights most of her life. She would never forget anyone’s birthday or Christmas. She loved her friends at pantry and post office and all her friends. She was and is the best mom in the whole wide world. We love you mama.

Services will be held at Bright Holland Funeral Home in Texas, then she will be transported to California. Services will also be held at Miller Memorial Chapel before burial at the Visalia Public Cemetery. She will join her parents, baby and so many family members that were previously laid to rest in this cemetery.
