Steven Douglas Foster, 59, of Paris, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, at his home while surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. A memorial gathering & visitation has been scheduled for Thursday, July 9th from 6 – 7 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, 1125 N. W. Loop 286, Paris, TX 75460. Steve, the son of James & Virginia Alexander Foster, was born July 19, 1955, in Paris. He attended North Lamar High School. He was parts manager for several area dealerships being known by his nickname “Parts”. Steve was a member of the Eagles Lodge for more than 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Joseph Foster. Survivors include his wife, Karen Carter Foster whom he married in 1999, children, Candice Sharrock of Hugo, OK, Daniel Foster of Paris and Dakota Foster of Hugo, OK, grandchildren, Evan Blassingame and Emma Blassingame, his mother-in-law, June Williams of Hugo, OK, an aunt, Cookie Flowers of Paris along with a host of friends.
