A bit about Terry as a young man. He lived in Mississippi and Arkansas as a youngster. He remembered being pulled through the fields on a cotton sack as a toddler, while his family members picked the cotton. His mother Hazel Nix later changed her name to Christine Nix and then married John Delucia in NJ. As a young boy Terry grew up in Bergen County NJ(Englewood Cliffs) attending Fort Lee HS as a teen and he joined the Army soon afterward and served in the Manheim-Hiedelberg area of Germany, fortunately keeping him away from the war in Vietnam. He went to the Univ. of Maryland while serving in Germany and took classes in history. He was discharged in 1966 returning to NJ after which he met his soon to be 1st wife Donna. After 5-1/2 mos. they eloped to Hendersonville NC in 1967 and married on Feb. 6 and then moved to California (where their Son David was born 3 yrs later) and then to Pennsylvania. He was overjoyed at the birth of his son. Terry was a hard worker and did his best to provide for his family. He became a TV repairman during this time working for Sears and WT Grants stores, He loved the $1.00 sales at Sears for employees buying leftovers and items to repair and he was amazing working with his hands around the house building a home for his family. He attended Fullerton JC in CA and took classes on the GI Bill which is where he learned some of the craftsmanship skills he used around the house.
