I was Todd's JAM (Jesus And Me) teacher in kids' clubs at his church. Todd always smiled even as a young boy in our classes. He continued to smile as a young man with a heart full of kindness for others! I thought of this older hymn and Todd's smiling face as I reflected on this wonderful young man! May we meet again, Todd, where the joy is unspeakable , full of Glory, and the half has NEVER yet been told!
Hymn "I have found His grace is all complete. He supplieth every need. While I sit & learn at Jesus' feet, I am free, yes, free indeed! I have found pleasure I once craved. It is joy & peace within. What a wonderous blessing! I am saved from the awful gulf of sin. I have found hope so bright & dear, living in the realm of grace! Oh the Savior's presence is so near, I can see His smiling face. I have found the joy no tongue can tell! How it's waves of glory roll! It is like a great overflowing well springing up within my soul! It is joy unspeakable & full of Glory! Oh! The half has NEVER yet been told!

I met Todd during my senior year of high school! Since I was a year older then him, we mainly saw each other during lunch. Everyday, he had a smile on his face. If he was having a bad day, or if you were having a bad day, he still smiled, and he knew the craziest things to say, to help cheer you up. You could talk to Todd about anything, without worrying about the entire planet finding out. He never judged you, and he genuinely was an amazing person. He never made you feel like you were being left out, and he got along with everyone! When I heard that he was sick, I didn’t want to believe something so heartbreaking, could be happening to him. Even though he accomplished so much at such a young age, he still had a long life ahead of him. It’s sad knowing that he won’t get to experience so many things, but to know he’s not hurting anymore, and to know that he’s happy again, is what should make everyone smile.

I can’t imagine losing a child, I have 2 of my own. Even though you can’t hear him, and you can’t see him, he’s always going to be the best guardian angel to his family and friends.
