Virgil Wayne Walston, 76, of Paris, passed away at his home Sunday, August 17, 2014. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Reverend Brad Crosswhite officiating. No formal visitation is scheduled; however he will lie in state at the funeral home, until service time. Interment with military honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Virgil was born October 8, 1937 in Cameron, TX to Virgil and Ollie Blake Walston. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He married Ernestine Locke in Hugo, OK on January 19, 1963 building over 51 years of family and memories. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, David Wayne Walston. Survivors include his wife, Ernestine; two daughters, Dianna Davis and Deborah Clark; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two nieces, as well as many good friends. Casket Bearers will be Dianna Davis, Deborah Clark, Virgil Davis, Jonathan Kinney, James Clark, and Tony Carr.
