Grandpa Chuck, 

It's been over a year since your passing, and I think of you very often. I am grateful for the many wonderful times we were able to spend on the River with you; those are some of my best memories! I know that you're at peace now from the pain you endured here on earth and that gives me great peace to know you're in a much happier place. I am so sad you weren't here for Braeden and I's wedding and you won't be here for the birth of our baby coming soon, but I know you are smiling down. I love you so much and I can't wait to see you on the other side so we can catch up.

Industrial Piping Systems was our only piping supplier and still is. I would call Chuck and he was always there for us to get the job done. When we would meet, we would talk about our personal lives, it always fun and very very intersting. Chuck was a  very respected person in the industry. I am sorry that I did not make it to the river and party, as that was a place he always taked about and enjoyed. All the best to Chuck and his family.

Charlie...it has taken me sometime to write this as many memories have risen to the surface.  I'm sorry for all the suffering you endured with your health these past few years and you are now in God's loving hands.

Thank you for our wonderful children and grandchildren who love you so and are missing you each day.  you are so loved by so many.  Now you are at peace, rest well..

JULY 24,2012  TO CHUCK'S MOM, CONNIE,HIS SISTER'S BETHEL AND KAAREN, ALL HIS CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN, AND HIS MANY FRIENDS.  MY PERSONAL MEMORY OF CHUCK GOES WAY BACK TO 1939, HIS BIRTH YEAR, AND HIS EARLY CHILDHOOD, THEN A LONG LAPSE TO A BRIEF MEETING DURING NAVY WEEK IN NYC THEN ANOTHER LONG LAPSE TO THE 1980'S, THEN A FINAL LAPSE FROM 1987 TO THE PRESENT. AS MY FIRST NEPHEW, THEN HIS SISTER'S AS MY FIRST TWO NIECES - ALL THREE HELD A SPECIAL NICHE IN MY HEART. HE WAS A GOOD MAN, AND A GOOD BROTHER, FATHER AND GRANDFATHER. Charlie/Chuck - There are no words that come easily.  I just know that now you are at peace and not in pain.  Your family misses you and will keep you in their hearts forever.

To My Beloved Father...

Dearest  Big Brother,Going through photo albums has brought back so many wonderful memories of our childhood and those of our children (& grandchildren).
I hope you knew that no matter how difficult some times were ( when you were with us while recovering from surgery) that those were also some of the best, because we were able to share memories and thoughts. Hank & I will remember the good parts fondly and laugh at the others.

I rejoice and celebrate your new life knowing there is no longer pain or suffering for you to endure,and that the Lord granted you your wish to call you from your beloved river to his glorious kingdom. You were my first nephew and I recall sitting on the couch where you were cautiously placed on my lap so I could hold you. What a thrill, I was only six, but I remember it so well. Then came the Xmas your Grandpa bought you your first suit with long pants. Grey wool with a red Buster Brown for under your jacket. Your and your Uncle Floyd were the apples of everyones eyes. I loved you so much and will miss you just as much. I am proud of your accomplishments in life and the beautiful family you leave behind. I will miss my uncle Chuck and all the teasing that passed between us over the years.  I think Mark summed up some much for me as well.  One could not know Chuck and not learn something from him,, as a child and adult.  I will never forget the trip we all shared to Lake Shasta, the many 4th of July's and other holidays spent together as a family, but most of all I will miss they way he called me Bobby, it was just different.  I miss you Chuck,  Rest in Peace Uncle.

Grandpa Chuck was a wonderful man who will be missed greatly. I regret that I didn't get to know him well enough, but he has always been spoken of very fondly. All of my memories of Chuck are smile provoking and I'll always remember him as a warm and loving man. May angels lead you in.

Chuck has been my Stepfather from a very early age. I am sad at his passing, but happy that his suffering is over. He always treated me as his own son and provided me with everything needed to live a comfortable life. He also helped me in many ways in my adult life that I am truly grateful for. I pray that you are in a better place Chuck and Thank you for everything you did for me in my life and for the sacrifices you made for all of us. God Bless and Rest in Peace... Mark

I am so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. I think of him often and it always brings a smile to my face.  He was always so good to Kiley, Alyx and myself.  Rest in Peace Chuck, I loved you more than you would ever know.
