I Knew Chris for years from where i work i was sadend to here of his passing when ever he talked to me on the phone he always added the i love you brother in there truly a lovable person i will miss him so Chris I love you Brother

To all of the family of Chris, I offer you my deepest sympathy for the loss of Chris, he was a wonderful man and I am grateful that I was a friend of his. I will never forget his kind spirit. May he rest in peace. All my love goes out to his family in this most difficult time.

Samantha, I am so so sorry for your loss. I remember Chris when u ad I were growing up in parker and I will never forget when he took us flying. I thought we were going to die when he purposely stalled the plane!!!!!  I never had more fun!!  He will always be missed and I miss u too. Much love to you and our family

Della, Sam and family, my sincere condolences to you and all of the family.  Chris played a big part of my times in Parker and he will be greatly missed.  I always made sure to stop by and see him whenever I was passing through town. I also remember well, his love for flying and helping him get his plane. God Bless you all.

Samantha - I hope you remember me - I just heard about Chris and wanted to send my sincere condolences to you and your family. I was just looking for him on Facebook a few months ago to see how he was doing. Terribly sad. I don't know if he ever told you about the signs he would hold up when he worked nights at the gas station on the way in to town from the CA side of the river where I lived. He wrote me a note almost every day in BIG letters and would hold it up as I drove by! It became a bit of a game for us and was incredibly sweet. He teased me ALOT in class but he did have a huge heart and a great laugh. I'm so sorry for your loss. Patty Sternitzke

Chris, it is a comfort to know that last Oct. we parted our ways as usual; with a big hug and a "I love you". No one can evey say "I love" enough.
 I can remember baiting your first fishing hook, teaching you how to throw a baseball, hold a bat, catch a ball, and run the bases. As well, teaching you how to play football and basketball. We grew up together as brothers and I will never forget you, ever. We had lots of fun growing up, to much to mention.

I love you very much and always will!!!!!!!!!! You are my brother!!!!!!!!!

One last comment, life is but a wisp of wind, here today and gone tommorow. Everyone must be ready to meet Jesus Christ when the time comes. Please read the Bible so that you will be ready when Jesus comes back for you and you will know the way to heaven, all roads do not lead to heaven.

So very sorry to hear about , Chris Roper passing. He will be missed very much, He was one of the only people that Winston loved to see and would let pet him.  Hope you are doing o.k. Della LOVE YOU ,and tell your family my prayers are with them.

I always welcomed Chris coming into the Post, his smile was ear to ear, willing to help anyone in need, friend to everyone he met.  My heart goes out to Dela, and family. Chris was my friend, you will be missed.

My love goes out to family at this time of need!! I use to work at the vfw (7061) in town and remember him always wanted to give me hugs he was a very loving and joyfull man he will be trueley missed but never forgoten..

Chris was a real sweetheart when I would come by and pick up Samantha for studio activities when they were children. He would act like he was coming with her and then run away laughing (no boys allowed)...he teased her, and loved her. Chris grew into a wonderful person and was talented at everything he tried. He just had "it".
    He was a pilot, loved crop dusting (scary), Chris studied self defense and successfully took and passed his black belt test in Chula Vista with Jerry's Taekwon Do Class. Jerry was so proud of him, especially during the enduro testing; Chris had a great spirit within him.
    At Pest Control, he was an outstanding employee and always called Jerry "Boss"; Jerry enjoyed Chris like a proud Dad. We are thankful that he was  in our lives; and so very sorry to say good bye so early; we know we will see him again, but so very hard to let him go. Don't think Chris had an enemy in the world; he would give you the shirt he was wearing if you needed it. We love you Chris. So Sorry for this wonderful family's loss.

I will miss you and the funny phone calls telling what you did last nite which usually consisted of telling me you ate a lot and got a good nites sleep, which i always new that that meant that you just wanted someone to talk to. You were truly my friend and i am deeply hurt from the lose of your companion ship. Rest in piece my brother from another mother and god willing we will meet again in a place more suited for people with as big a heart and willingness to give everything to anyone in need, while expecting nothing in return, and always seeing only the good in people.

Chris always lit up a room. I loved how he would call me darling, honey, and the alike. He always made me feel special. I will miss you Uncle Chris.

So sorry to hear about Chris' death. We moved to Parker in 05' & he was our bug man & what a great guy he was. Sincere sympathy to Della (a VFW auxiliary sister) & the rest of the family.

Truly, truly a sweet man. From pool dunkings to requests for cornbread, all were done in his own "Chris" way. I'll miss you, Chris! RIP, my friend!

One of the best things I loved about Chris was his ability to always be happy and enjoy life.  He would light up a room and bring life into it as he entered.  Taking him to his first Suns game in Phoenix was such a thrill.  God bless you Chris.
