Elizabeth Carmona

With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Carmona, who passed away in Ehrenberg, Arizona, at the age of 62. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Elizabeth lived a life devoted to faith, compassion, and service to others.

Elizabeth was a sister to Marcy Kamis, Rena Pace, Anita Frost, Cameron (Ron) Jackson, Lydia Jackson, and Winona Leos. She was preceded in death by her siblings Joe Carr, Patty Riggs, and Alfred (Pete) Jackson. She was one of several siblings in a large family.

Elizabeth is survived by her children: Julius Dearte and his wife, Patricia Dearte, of Yakima, Washington, along with their children, Avalina Dearte and Mason Dearte; her eldest daughter, Rebecca Dearte, of Ferndale, Washington, and her daughter, Taylor Elmer; her youngest daughter, **Samantha Murphy of Colorado Springs, Colorado, **and her sons, Joseph Murphy and Keit Murphy.

Elizabeth spent much of her life focused on her own path and personal relationships. She was known for her kindness and for offering help to others when she was able. She was someone people could turn to in times of need, and she extended generosity in her own quiet way.

She had an appreciation for children and believed in sharing family culture and traditions with younger generations, encouraging them to understand their roots.

An incredible cook, Elizabeth had a way of bringing people together around the dinner table. Her meals nourished not only the body but also the soul, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She was a grandmother who cared for her grandchildren and took opportunities to encourage and support them.

Elizabeth was also a devoted Seattle Seahawks fan, faithfully cheering on her team through every season. Her enthusiasm and spirited support brought smiles to those around her.

Most importantly, Elizabeth was a devoted Christian whose faith guided every aspect of her life. She lived with grace, humility, and unwavering trust in God. She demonstrated Christ's love through acts of kindness, forgiveness, and service, leaving an enduring example for her family to follow.

In accordance with her wishes, Elizabeth will be cremated and laid to rest beside her parents, where she longed to be reunited with them. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the loving presence of her Savior.

Elizabeth's legacy is one of faith, compassion, and quiet strength. Her memory will live on in every life she touched, every lesson she taught, every meal she lovingly prepared, and every act of kindness she inspired.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
