Gregory E. (Greg) Ware, age 66, a resident of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, died peacefully at home in the arms of his loving wife Marge on August 24, 2020.
Gregory was born in Rockford, Illinois where he also attended school. He lived most of his adult life in California where he was active in his church playing hand bells and in the community serving many years on the Bloomington Municipal Advisory Council before retiring to Lake Havasu City in 2014. Greg loved the lake and all Lake Havasu City has to offer.
Greg served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a retired civil servant for the City of Santa Ana Fire Department where he also served as a Union Steward. He loved God and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Marjory Mendoza-Ware; two daughters, Tiffany N. Ware and Kristen J. Guzman; son-in-law Omar Guzman; mother Helen F. Ware; brother Cannie M. Ware, Jr.; sisters Laurita D. Ware and Christy L. Jones, as well as an uncle, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dad, Cannie M. Ware.
