James Leroy Cloud

James Leroy Cloud passed on August 25, 2026, at the age of 87. James was born on January 28, 1939, in Lincoln, Nebraska. James served our country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Enterprise. Following his discharge, he returned to Nebraska, where he lived, worked, and raised his family. After retirement, James moved to Quartzsite, Arizona.

James was preceded in death by his mother (Helen), father (Roy), two sisters (Clara and Joan), children (James and Traci), and two great grandchildren (Axton and Bianca). James is survived by daughter Lori, grandchildren Jamie, Kenny, Michael and Taylor, great grandsons Jaxon, Chris, and Shane, sister Ellen, and numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Boomer.

James loved traveling around the country in his RV visiting family and friends. His daughter and great grandsons will dearly miss him and his annual visits to Texas. We find comfort knowing he is whole in the arms of Jesus.

In honor of James’ final wishes, there will be no services.
