Josephine Y. Franco

Josephine "Josie" Y. Franco at 79 years old entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Her spirit is carried on by her two sisters, Juanita Burns of Parker, AZ, and Elvilina Lopez of Hawthorne, NV. Her eight children, Ruben Y. Carmona Sr., Anita Jimenez, Freddy Carmona, Margie Carmona, The late Rachel Borbolla, Samuel Carmona, Fernando Carmona, Eva Ponce and Julian Carmona. Her two daughters in law Penny and Lisa Carmona and sons in law Manuel Jimenez and Wedo Borbolla. Her 26 Grandchildren, 43 Great grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Josie was born February 5, 1934 in El Paso, TX., to Jubencia Robledo, and Margarito Ytuarte. Josie has been a Parker, AZ resident for over 63 years and very well respected among friends of the family. Josie spent her life as a house wife and a master of crafts. She could take anything and make it into something beautiful. She loved being in her garden with her cactuses and plants, feeding her birds and spending time with her family and friends. No matter what was going on Josie could always make you laugh, but don't you dare throw anything away or you will be in big trouble.

Josie was beautiful inside and out, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, but rest easy knowing she is in Heaven with the Lord, her parents, her daughter, and two grandsons.

Funeral Services will be as follows: Thursday September 12, 2013 from 6-9 pm, at the Grace Assembly of God Church and on Friday September 13, 2013 at 9 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Josie will be laid to rest immediately following, at the Parker Cemetery.
