She began her career teaching high school in Missouri. Pat began working at Wal Mart soon after where she remained for 36 years. She managed many stores throughout Texas, South Carolina and Nevada. Her she retired in 2019 from Wal Mart Neighborhood Market in North Las Vegas. She found great joy in mentoring her employees and coworkers while fostering life long relationships.
Pat is survived by her two daughters, Cristy Joy (Mike Ayars) and Tracey (Joy) Plympton (Steve Plympton), and one granddaughter, Chelsea Allman (Desirre (Cavasos) Joy), sister Diane (Gilbert) Senft (John Senft), two brothers Ronnie Gilbert, Larry Gilbert (Karen Gilbert), many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pat’s smile, tenacity, and quick wit will forever be missed.
A memorial has been set up to celebrate Pat’s life.
