Ruben Ytuarte Carmona Sr. at 72 years old entered into eternal life on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. His spirit is carried by his son, his mom, dad, two sisters and brother. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Penny Carmona, two sons Ruben Y. Carmona Jr. and Justin J. Carmona, daughter in-law Kristian Nopah and three grandchildren Caden, Elihue and Bryce. He also leaves behind two sisters and three brothers with a lot of nieces and nephews.
Ruben was born January 22, 1950 in El Paso, Texas to Josephine Ytuarte and Fernando Carmona. He was the oldest of nine brothers and sisters. Ruben moved to Parker when he was just a few months old where he would attend Le Pera School, Wallace Elementary and Parker High School. He had many jobs until he landed the one that would change his life as a life long bus driver for the Parker community for over 30 years.
Ruben would eventually run into his beautiful bride, Penny Moore, at Dairy Queen in 1977 and would end up marrying her in Las Vegas, Nevada making her Penny Carmona. Ruben and Penny would have three sons, the eldest Steven, who passed away in 1984. Ruben Jr would follow in 1985 and Justin (Red) in 1986, who would later bless him with three grandsons. Ruben helped raise his three children with patience, discipline and humility. He taught them all that he could until they were grown men.
Ruben was an educator at heart. He was kind, well-spoken and always had time to answer a question or solve a problem, no matter how big or how small. His love for animals took him to ride, breed, train and raise cows, chickens, goats, horses, pigs and dogs. He was a natural cowboy at heart. Along with his love for animals he was a very big social person. He loved being around people whether he was just saying hello or having an argument about everything and anything. Ruben touched the lives of everyone he met, and they all loved and adored him. If he wasn't watching old western movies he was running around with his grandkids or going to get his favorite meal, menudo.
His hugs were life savers to all and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
