Theodore R. Princehorn passed away in Parker Arizona in February 2012. Ted was born in Massillon Ohio on December 3, 1948 to parents Raymond Donald Princehorn and Betty Mae Princehorn. Ted was a life long boy scout who recieved many top honors. He served with distinction in the United States Airforce. Ted graduated from the University of California, Berkley in 1976. He was responsible for taking a popular home electronics store public. He went on to enjoy a successful career as a CPA for many years. Ted was referred to as “Bear” by his loving brother Timothy Princehorn of Murfreesboro Tennessee and best friend and sister Marcia Dohy of Massillon Ohio. They enjoyed spending time together, telling jokes, texting and talking daily. Ted loved to travel, work on his motorcycle, swim laps and to study history. He enjoyed taking his grandbabies, Zoie, Madison, Hayven, Trinity and Enzo out to “lattes” and playing with them in his traveling “playhouse.” Ted was referred to by everyone he knew as a brilliant man with a wealth of knowledge to share. He often helped others with complex problems and was known to ALWAYS have a solution. Ted commanded attention and got it when he walked into a room. Ted traveled the world, raced cars, flew airplanes, sailed boats, rode motorcycles and basically accomplished any goal he set out to conquer. His time was always occupied with a project to be done and he worked with a smile on his face as he tinkered away. He is survived by his son Raymond S. Princehorn (Brandy) of Redmond Oregon and Erin K. Brown (Josh) of Bend, Oregon. He left his two children with a million amazing stories to tell and adventures that were had. Ray and Erin are thankful and proud to have had him as their father. They think of him with a smile on his face, laughing and reciting quotes from classic movies. They are still laughing at his jokes. The space he left in the world will be replaced by no one. He is deeply missed.
