Angela Renee Landis

Angela R. Hatcher Landis, 42, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2011 after a courageous fight against cancer.

She was born November 9, 1968 in Parkersburg, a daughter of Joseph and June Hatcher. She was a 1986 graduate of Parkersburg South High School, was employed by ASCO Security, and a Protestant by faith. She will always be remembered by her family for her selflessness and strength.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Robert “Wick” Landis of Parkersburg; brothers, Joseph (Lisa) Hatcher, Jr. of Belpre, OH and Charles “Ross” Hatcher of Spangler, WV; sisters, Deborah (Randy) Gunnoe of Spangler, WV which was her dedicated caretakers, and Judy (Ken) Dillon of Lakeland, FL; nephew Chester Lockhart and his fiancé, Krista Bailey; and several other special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Greenwalt.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Gary Pack officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Friday from 11-1 p.m.
