It is with a heavy heart that our dear sweet mother, Asenath "Ann" Bunner passed away on September 16, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Ann was born on March 17, 1941 to the late Bernard and Sarah Vore in Zanesville, Ohio.
In 1966 Ann married the love of her life, Robert Bunner. They met at St. Joseph's Hospital where they both worked. They went on to have two beautiful daughters. During their 55 years together there family grew and they created many memories together.
Ann was known for her huge giving heart. She enjoyed needle work and loved a good book. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to Elvis
Ann attended the Gihon Tabernacle EMC Church for many years. She was a true and faithful servant to the Lord.
Ann will be greatly missed by all her know and loved her.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter: Melissa Heiden; grandchildren, Heather (Steve) Mace, Cory Bunner, Robert (Falesha) Heiden, Lacey (Jarod) Heiden; great-grandchildren; Peyton, Barrett, Walker, Bailey, Axtyn, Blake; her nephew, Mark (Sandy) Vore; and brother David Vore.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Robert, her beautiful daughter, Melanie Bunner, and her brother, Bruce.
Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 12pm to 1pm.
