He was born Nov. 7, 1930 in Belleville, WV, a son of the late Ira A. and Loa Mae Camp. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, and was baptized.
He was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from Walker Parkersburg. He enjoyed raising cattle, farming, gardening, and tending to his berries. Brady was also a carpenter and built many houses in the Lubeck area with his brothers, Grady Camp and Hollie Camp. He was an avid woodworker, hunter, trapper, and fisherman. He greatly enjoyed talking with family and friends and watching the purple martins from his back porch swing.
He is survived by his two daughters, Marsha Camp of Parkersburg and Brenda (Scott) Ayre of South Portland, ME; four grandchildren, Jesse (Dawn) Nicholas of Cincinnati, OH, Megan Ayers of Parkersburg, Samuel Ayre and Lindsey Ayre, both of S. Portland, ME; one great-grandchild, Levi Nicholas of Cincinnati, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Brady was preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Stenius; four brothers, Oric Camp, Francis Camp, Grady Camp, and Hollie Camp; and an infant granddaughter, Brendan Ayers.
Services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 30 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Roger Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
