Brenda Christine Sams

Brenda C. Sams, 63, of Parkersburg passed away July 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 26, 1955 in Parkersburg, WV, a daughter of Evelyn (Lemley) Davis and the late Andrew Pickens Sr. She retired from Dupont and was a devoted member of Christ Mission Baptist Church. Brenda is survived by her children, April Smith (Tim) of Mineral Wells, John Sams (Nissa) of Parkersburg, mother Evelyn and step-dad Mike Davis, brother; Andrew Pickens Jr. (Suzanne), sister; Andrea Moore (Dave) and Angela Pickens and the light of her life, her grandson; Devan Haddox. We could not complete her heart without mentioning her second mother; Cora Sams, step-mom; Macel Pickens and the numerous devoted family and friends. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
