Carl I. Brogle

He was born May 8,1942 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Carlos Brogle and Gertrude Weekly Brogle.

Carl proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and worked as a machinist at Challenger Electric and O’Ames until his retirement. He enjoyed spending weekends at the river, playing cornhole, boating, fishing, and relaxing with a cold beer. He loved taking the kids skiing and was always happy to take Kenny tubing—especially if it meant trying to knock him off. Above all, Carl cherished the time he spent with his family and friends and the memories they created together. He will be deeply missed.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Shirley Brogle; children, Kenny Brogle, Melissa Brogle; siblings, Patty Hersman, twin sister, Carol Divers; grandchildren, James Brogle, Lindsey Brogle, Daniel Wells, Steven Brogle, Ryan Taylor, Jaxson Brogle and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday June 19, 2026 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4 PM to 7 PM Thursday June 18, 2026 at the funeral home.
