Charles Glenn Morrison

He was born Jan 18, 1922 in Buckhannon, WV a son to the late Albert and Nina Morrison. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in WWII, he retired as a mechanic with Firestone, and he enjoyed bowling and participating in leagues at Rendor Lanes, and loved to hunt, fish and garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and a grandson, Chris Morrison.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Leona Ruth Morrison; sons, Roger Morrison (Darlene) of Lancaster, OH, Johnny Morrison (Kathy) of Mineral Wells, and Tommy Morrison (Debbie) of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Chad Morrison (Melissa), Christine Yates (Donnie), Lisa Richie (Brad), Casey Morrison, Tyler Morrison, and Roger Morrison Jr., great-grandchildren, Allison, Ryan, Kammy, Caleb, Cayleigh, , Stacey, and Cameron, and a special sister-in-law, Betty Morrison.

Service will be Sunday, February 19, 2012, 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with Pastor Loyd Winans officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Saturday, February, 18, 2012 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
