

Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971. He married the love of his life, Sharon Dixon McCrady, in 1967 and they were married for 59 years. He retired from Walker Machinery in 2010 as a heavy equipment mechanic. He had a love for the outdoors, he loved watching wildlife, working on tractors, collecting guns, restoring old trucks and tractors, especially the blue Ford Truck and he loved his red Ford truck but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Those left behind to cherish his memory, are his wife of 58 years, Sharon McCrady; daughters, Stephanie Jensen (Jeff), Brenda Hooper (Robert), Jennifer Ball (Joshua); grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla, Morgan, Austin, Zachary, Abby, Emma, Kaleb, Gabe, Riley; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Bayer.
He will be greatly missed but his legacy will live forever in the stories and hearts of his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday July 5, 2026 from 5PM to 8 PM at the McCrady residence on Kites Run Road. Per his wishes, Sunset Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation.
