He was born August 28, 1961 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Kenneth Doyle Heiney and Inez Virginia Sullivan. He worked at RD Wilson, John Mansfield, and Oil and Gas Corporation. He was a loving father that enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching his daughter play softball.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Katie Heiney.
He is survived by his daughter Lindsay Ann Heiney, son, Joshua Lee Heiney, brother, Matthew Lee Heiney, sisters, Elizabeth Putnam, Susan Heiney, and Becky Nelson, along with numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He is also survived by Larry and Angie Allen, and Deloris Newberry and family.
Services will be Friday, April 22, 2011, 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
