Dwight Lewis Hall

Dwight L. Hall of Parkersburg, WV, residing in Zephyrhills, FL., passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026 at the age of 85. He was born on February 4, 1941 to Lloyd Hall and Virginia (Parker) Hall in Parkersburg, WV. After obtaining his GED, he spent 3 years in the United States Army and 2 years in the United States Navy Reserves. He married the love of his life, Jo Hall on August 30, 1958 and together they shared 68 wonderful years of marriage.

Dwight enjoyed fishing, Karate and Judo and was known for his love of the Lord, his kindness and gentle loving care. He is survived by his sons, Dwight David Hall of Parkersburg, WV and Dwayne Michael Hall (Mindy) of Columbus OH, his daughter, Tammy Lynn (Hall) Byers (Mark) of Zephyrhills FL, Three grandchildren, Cody Hall (Katie), David Hall and Christopher Hall (Amanda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephew’s and great grandchildren.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, and his beautiful wife.

Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home located at 1934 Dupont Road, Parkersburg WV, 26101 on Wednesday August 26, 2026. Viewing will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by Funeral Memorial Service at 1:00 by Pastor Michael Lamb. There will be a Celebration of Dwight’s Life following Funeral service at Parkersburg City Park at Shelter off of Park Avenue, please bring a covered dish.
