

Frank E. Cooper former resident of Pahrump and Las Vegas, NV, died Monday morning, July 3, 2023 in Marietta Ohio with family by his side. He was born in Marietta on December 18, 1948 to Roy and Marjorie Cooper. Graduated from Marietta High School in 1966 and enjoyed his football days as a Marietta High School “Tiger". Frank graduated from Findlay University in Findlay, Ohio and UNLV, Las Vegas with his Masters degree. Served in the US Army Reserves.
He always looked for the good in all situations and wanted people to feel good about themselves. His joy came from making others feel good about themselves. He was full of laughter and always smiling.
Frank was an educator and administrator in Clark County Schools, NV, for a large part of his career. He retired from his favorite position as Principal of Spring Mountain Youth Camp, a juvenile Detention Center in Clark County. Frank could spend hours talking about his staff and his love for the boys at the camp. He was very proud of their football team and would travel to their games in support.
March 7 of 1991 Frank married Rose Campbell and they resided in Las Vegas until Rose passed away in 2015. Frank is survived by one son, Adam Ronald Cooper of Las Vegas; One step-son Spike and granddaughter Shelby; Brother Steven Cooper, Fleming, OH and Sister Laura Hall (Jonathan)Williamstown, WV. Special cousins, nephews and dear friend Chris Boyajian, Pahrump, NV. Frank was proceeded in death by his parents Roy and Marjorie Cooper, Sister Donna Jean and Wife Rose.
During Franks several visits to Marietta Memorial Hospital, he became known by the staff, when someone would help him, he would thank them and say how nice they were. Special thanks to the Marietta Memorial 3 North Staff.
A celebration of Franks life will be held at a later date with internment of ashes at Palm Northwest Cemetery in Las Vegas, NV.
