Fredrick is survived by an adopted son Timothy W. Staats of Belpre, two sons, Fred A. Staats of Barlow and Jimmie J. Staats, of Belpre; and two daughters, Michelle R. Hall of South Carolina and Alice C. Nay, of Barlow. He is also survived by two sisters, one brother, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Fredrick was a 1958 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. He retired after years of working as a welder with the Union 798 Pipeline. He enjoyed collecting trains and cigars.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens on Friday, August 2 2024 at 1pm in the Garden of Everlasting Life.
