He was born May 19, 1948 in Parkersburg, a son of Opal Marie Shuler Harrison of Parkersburg and the late Ralph Harrison. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the American Legion Post #15.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Debra Ann Streight Harrison; one son, Gary Eugene Harrison; one step-son, George Montgomery and his wife, Kathy, of Parkersburg; one brother, George Harrison (Sandra) of Petroleum; and one granddaughter, Erica Montgomery of Parkersburg.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Ronald Harrison, and one sister, Sandra Harrison.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Bill Law and Rev. Dr. Thomas McDowell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with military rites provided by the American Legion Post #15.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home.
