Glenna Jean Perkins, 73, of Washington, passed away Feb. 28, 2011 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 16, 1937 in Wood County, WV a daughter of the late William S. and Imogene Silket Armel. She had worked for Lubeck Meat Packing, and was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church and the Mustang Club.
She is survived by two sons, William S. (Tina) Perkins, and Kevin R. (Lisa) Perkins, all of Washington; one daughter, Leta D. (Steve) Harter of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Billy, Charlene, and Dannielle Perkins, and Steven and Coty Harter; two great-grandchildren, Kristen and Jasmine Harter; two brothers, Darrell Wilson and Roger Steel both of Parkersburg; and one sister, Barbara Lewis of Alaska.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Perkins; and one great-grandson, Michael Chase DeBerry.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Frank Miller officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
