She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son; Aaron McDermitt of Clarksburg, her daughter; Gwendolyn Gatrell of Belleville, sisters; Myrtle Blizzard, Kim Gridds, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and 6 brothers.
