Haruko “Peach” Minigh, born March 16, 1927, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at Yorkland Park Care Center. She was born in Nogata City, Kushu, Japan; she was a nurse in an American hospital in Japan where she met Air Force Sgt. Samuel Minigh, Jr., whom she married in 1958. They then moved to the United States, and she spent most of her life in West Virginia. Peach was an artist and loved to garden. She is preceded in death by her husband, her mother Momoe Goto, and her father Teruo Arbe Goto. She is survived by daughters Karen (Rusty) Vance and Nancy (Tom) Gavin; and two beloved grandchildren, Robb Vance and Grace Gavin. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Also on Friday from 1:30 – 3:30 at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 1934 Dupont Rd., Parkersburg, W.Va., where her service will follow at 3:30 p.m. Entombment will be at the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
