

Kitty was the daughter of Brady and Edith Whipkey at Five Forks WV. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Ethel Pauline Swisher of Windsor NC and Renice {Pug} Francis of Elizebeth WV, and four brothers, Mervin, Denver and Tim Whipkey all of Five Forks WV and Chuck Stock of Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her late great twice married, twice divorced ex husband William D. Swisher of Big Bend WV.
Her spirit will be carried on by her three children {my deepest condolance to the ones who will have to put up with them ha/ha}. Debbie Swisher of Parkersburg WV, Paula {Kerry} Sims of Walker WV and Billie Jo {nickname "BJ"} Swisher and J.R. Brand {who was her ex son in law but just couldn't or wouldn't accept it ha/ha}both of Parkersburg WV. Kitty was blessed with 7 grandchildren and Micah Renee Brand {her best friend and the absolute love of her life. And 11 great grandchildren, and 1 one the way by her first granddaughter whom she had a very special and close relationship with. She is leaving behind a "hero", Kaylee Renee Potts.
She is survived by one sister Carolyn McEwen of Toronto Ohio and 2 brothers Denzil and Roger Whipkey all of Calhoun County WV. And several special nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by all. Kitty was a member and attended the First Assembly of God on Martown Rd. Parkersburg WV. She was dedicated to serving God throughout her whole life. She touched so many people in countless ways. She ministered to the people at the willows nursing home.
The family would like to thank all the friends that helped her through her times of cancer treatments and heart doctors. The one person who was with her from the very beginning and for over 17 years, her long life partner and down syndrom best friend Tim Francis of Reno Ohio.

Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the First Assembly of God on Martown Rd., Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until time of service on Thursday at the church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg.
