She was born May 29, 1927 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Huston Williams and Marie Miller Rowley. She attended Edgelawn United Methodist Church and Grace Gospel Church. She was a Sales Manager for Stanley Home Products for 54 years, starting in 1958. She was a Girl Scout leader for 12 years and a Cub Scout Den Mother for 4 years. She enjoyed bowling, playing bunko, camping, sewing, and crafts. She was an avid collector of bells, salt & pepper shakers, dolls, and teacups. Her favorite pastime was sending greetings cards to family and special friends.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Rollins; four children, Mary Virginia “Jenny” Rubio and her husband, Carlos of Valle Cali, Columbia, Kenneth Lewis “Bud” Rollins and his wife, Charlene of Parkersburg, Donna Lee Smith and her husband, Larry, of Belleville, and William Glenn “Butch” Rollins; five grandchildren, Richard Lewis Stalnaker and his wife, Angie, of Belleville, Melinda Jo Skinner of Washington, Tara Nichole Taylor of Parkersburg, Wendy Hope Midcap of Parkersburg, and Stacey Sheppard and her husband Mike of Belleville; nine great-grandchildren, Katlyn Alexander Stalnaker, Hannah Elizabeth Stalnaker, Justin Michael Skinner, Alexis Renna Skinner, Morgan Sheppard, Mason Lee Sheppard Trenton Josiah Taylor, Karis M. Midcap and Kensington Midcap; five sisters, Janet Jeske of Livingston, TX, Rhonda Stone of Vienna, Sandra Waybright of St. Albans, WV, Edith Duvall of Barlow, OH, and Sarah Sheppard of Vienna; and three brothers, Donald Williams of Elizabeth, David Williams of Parkersburg, and Henry Rowley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Henry Patrick Rowley; her step-mother, Marie Leasure; three sisters, Barbara Ellen Barr, Melba Louise Sheets, Hazel Pressley; and one nephew, Charles Dale Williams.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Dave Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
