She was born March 28, 1924, in Grantsville, WV a daughter to the late Emory and Vernia Kreaps. She was a homemaker and a devout member of the Church of Christ , attending the Marrtown Church of Christ while living in Parkersburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosaline Harris.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dale Fowler; her daughters Sandra (Carl) Pyles of Newark, OH and Brenda (Tom) Trubiana of Memphis TN; grandchildren Dee (Andrew) Kossoff of Bexley, OH, Justin (Lakana) Trubiana of Memphis, TN, and Alicia Trubiana of NYC; and one great-grandchhild Sophie Kossoff; siblings Lynn (Veta) Kreaps of Parkersburg WV and Janet Harris of Phoenix, AZ.
Service will be Friday, March 7, 2014, 2 pm, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Minister Randy Yerby officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2 pm on Friday.
